Lindsay Shaw: Owner/Operator
Hello! I am an entrepreneur working and living in Cody, Wyoming. I am the founder and the owner/operator of Blue Spruce Ink LLC. Professionally for the last 20 years I have worked in Higher education, K-5 education, retail, and sales/recruitment. In the midst of this dedicated work experience I was always drawn to creative writing and design projects within each industry.

Louisa May Alcott wrote, “I don’t like to doze by the fire. I like adventures, and I’m going to find some.”
My ink-stained hands will write on anything not nailed down. Random receipts, gum wrappers, old bills, or advertisement mailers. I have always packed around a journal and have a passion for words whether in blogs, songs, haiku, or email marketing. I am drawn to all thing's language and lyric.
My family jokingly says I have
a book and office supplies problem.
So, here I am living by my pen.
Best career decision I have ever made.
I cultivate meaningful connections with businesses in order to help them illuminate strengths and talents through their story.

Why is the business called Blue Spruce Ink LLC?
We live in the high desert of Wyoming,
not far from the Yellowstone National Park.
Nature was my first creative playground.
No matter the season, there is always beauty to be found.
I have traveled throughout the United States and to a few spectacular places around the world.
Every time I see the mountains as I am driving or flying back to Cody, I breathe in a sigh of relief that I am home.
My Wyoming roots and family keep me grounded,
while new experiences continue
to provide fresh perspective.
